As a builder of instruments, as well as a player, I am keenly aware of the dynamic relationship one may have with an instrument.

As a simple or complex tool, regardless of its shape or application, utilized in such a way as to invoke:

emotion. depth. context. evolution. meaning.

My intent with Gold City Guitar is to provide a personalized and intimate service to the Sierra foothills community that allows for everyone from novice student to seasoned player to become more involved with the tools of sound they employ, and not only engage in a deeper understanding of what is possible, but to discover what was once unknown.
