Order other custom strings from us ahead of schedule, or bring your own at no extra charge.

More than 6 strings likely gets an upcharge.

1.5 - 2 hours + strings

Most well played and even new instruments still need some love. Investing in a setup is the best way to get your instrument playing the best it can.

Includes full inspection & evaluation, truss rod, nut & saddle adjustment, restring, intonation, cleaning, oiling & polishing.

New strings are necessary for all setups.

New nut & saddle are additional cost.

Your instrument should play and feel how you enjoy it, and we are always willing to discuss how to make that happen for you.

All of our setups come with a 6 month bring it back until you’re happy with it guarantee.

1/2 - 6 hours

Stringed instruments built out of wood are constantly in motion due to changes in temperature and humidity.

Maybe your fretboard dried out and you have “fret sprout“ . Perhaps there are frets worn or not seated correctly.

Single fretwork starts at 1/2 hour and gets cheaper the more gets done. Full refret includes fretboard level, fret set, level, dress & polish, and full setup. Upcharge for bound fretboards.

New strings are necessary for every setup.

New nut or saddle if requested or required is additional time and material charge.

1/2 - 1.5 hours

Instruments are subject to wear and/or are not necessarily made perfect to begin with.

While filling slots and adding shims are sometimes an economical ‘quick fix’ they are often temporary and can affect the overall tone of an instrument.

Replacement is sometimes necessary and is generally a worthy investment.

This work can start at 1/2 hour for ‘quick fix’ or 1-1.5 hours + materials for replacement.

If instruments are left for evaluation, no work will be scheduled or performed until scope and estimate are agreed upon.
